I started my career as an office manager in the building industry managing a family business, whilst studying for my bachelor in business. My husband and I also had a successful lighting company for many years. This experience has given me a unique advantage in understanding small businesses and assisting them to overcome the day to day challenges my clients face in running their own business.
I received my chartered accountancy qualification in 2004, and since then have enjoyed working with a variety of clients from different industries.
Originally from Holland, I now consider New Zealand home. I live in Gordonton with my husband and three children. I have a love for animals and the outdoors and when I’m not at my desk I enjoy hiking, horse riding, fishing and water sports. I dabble with a paint brush and I attempt to play the guitar.
